Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-21

Draft. This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and it will be before Zonehook launches. Until then it describes how Zonehook intends to work, not a final agreement.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how the operator of Zonehook, called we or us below, handles personal data when you use the Zonehook website and app. The operator's legal name and contact address will be added here before launch.

What we collect from you

Account data: your name, your email address, a securely hashed version of your password, the version of the terms you accepted and when, and your role in your workspace.

Workspace data: what you and your team put into Zonehook, such as brand details, topics, drafts, approvals and comments, and the audit log of changes.

Usage data: the actions you run, the credits they use, and errors, so that we can bill accurately, keep costs in check and fix problems.

Technical data: your IP address and browser details, used to keep you signed in, to show you your active sessions and to limit abuse.

Payment details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers.

What we collect from public sources

Research reads publicly available posts, articles and pages about your topics. We store short excerpts and links to them as evidence for the ideas we show you. These can include public usernames. Raw collected content is kept only for a limited period, and the period is shown in the app.

How we use it

We use personal data to provide Zonehook to you, to secure it, to prevent abuse, to bill you and to support you. We also measure how well Zonehook's scores predict the results of published content, to improve them. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use service providers for hosting and storage, email delivery, AI models and payments. They process data only on our instructions. A list of these providers will be published here before launch.

Cookies

Zonehook uses a cookie to keep you signed in. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep account and workspace data while your account exists. A deleted workspace can be restored for 30 days and is then deleted. Security logs and backups are kept for a limited period and then removed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data. Workspace Owners can export the workspace's data and delete the workspace from the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to some processing and to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, connections are encrypted, and access to data is limited to the people and systems that need it.

Children

Zonehook is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

Each version of this policy carries the date it took effect. We will tell you in the app about changes that matter to you.
